Rosemary and Garlic Pull-Apart Wreath Bread
The holidays are here! Bailey from @harvesttablenutrition and I are so excited to share this pillowy, doughy rosemary and garlic pull apart wreath bread ๐ฅ - perfect for the entertaining over the holidays. I happen to just love bread, when I was a kid once I asked my parents for the "good kind of bread" as part of my Christmas gift. ๐๐
Here is the recipe:
rolls:
1 1/4 cup of warm milk
1 tsp of instant yeast
1 tbsp of maple syrup
2 tsp of extra virgin oil (p.s I used a slightly different recipe in this video which added more oil but this recipe here is even better!)
1/2 tbsp of salt
3 cups of all purpose flour, plus more for dusting
garlic butter:
1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
8 cloves of garlic
1/2 Tbsp of dried thyme
1/2 Tbsp of dried oregano
1 Tbsp of fresh rosemary, finely chopped
Method:
In a bowl or stand mixer with a dough hook, whisk together the warm milk, yeast, maple syrup and oil. Let stand for 5 minutes to allow the yeast to do its thing.
With the mixer on low speed, add salt and flour, and knead until smooth, about 5 min with a mixer, or 8 minutes by hand.
Shape into a lightly greased ball and let rest for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
As the dough rises, prepare the garlic butter by mixing all remaining ingredients with the 1/2 cup of butter.
Shape risen dough ball into about 35-40 small balls of the same size. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush a bundt pan with the garlic butter. Dip each round dough ball into garlic butter before placing onto the bundt pan until pan is filled evenly with dough balls. Press down slightly and bake for about 35-40 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes before flipping over a platter.
